GREETINGS
As each day brings colder temperatures we are reminded that heavy quilting and sewing season is here. Time to work on those projects for friends and family. If you need a wonderful new sewing machine, embroidery machine or serger to play with this winter, we can help you with that too!
Girls Helping Girls Update – During 2011 we have sent the following dresses: 80 to Joplin, Missouri; 71 to Eastern Europe (House Eidleweis); 30 to Cambodia (orphanage); 75 to Costa Rica (with Key School students from Indianapolis); 50 to Tanzania, Africa; 91 dresses to Haiti (Lifeline); 22 to Haiti (Jane Huntsman delivered); 41 to Mexico (WHO – Ernesto Fuentes); 57 skirts to India (Care India); 17 dresses (Care India) for a grand total of 536 dresses! Everybody give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done! Now we get to start anew. Please note that the display in the store has been moved to the classroom area and you can still check in and out back there. Since we have about 50 people now helping us it was time to make the checking out and checking in of the dresses a little more self-service for our regulars. Please give us honest feedback on the new setup.
We service all brands of sewing/embroidery machines and sergers. Two week turnaround on most machines. A clean, oil and adjust runs $79.95. When you bring in your machine for cleaning, please remember to have the foot control, cord, bobbin and bobbin case as well as a zig-zag foot on your machine.
